Alondra Velaszuez, After-Hours Associate

Alondra Velaszuez has been with Coalition Court Reporters for two years, serving as the after-hours associate. In this role, she handles all requests and emails that come in outside of regular business hours, ensuring that last-minute changes, additions, and hearings are managed with precision. Whether it’s a forgotten hearing or a quick change, she’s the go-to person when things need to be handled after hours.

One of the things Alondra loves most about her job is the strong sense of community she has experienced. She’s grateful for the meaningful connections she’s made with both her team and the reporters, and she’s excited to see the community continue to grow and thrive.

Alondra holds a Bachelor’s degree in criminology and has taken law courses during her undergraduate studies, giving her a foundational understanding of the legal terminology used in the industry. She is also a current court reporting student, which provides her with the technical skills and empathy needed to support the reporters she works alongside.

When not working or studying, Alondra enjoys attending live concerts and listening to a wide range of music genres, from pop to R&B, country, and Latin music. She is a devoted Los Angeles Dodgers supporter, you can catch her at several games during a season.

As a first-generation student and the eldest of four children, Alondra takes great pride in being a role model for her younger siblings, demonstrating that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible. Over the next year, she plans to take the CSR exam and become a licensed court reporter, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her career.
